How to Fix Warping / Curling / Lifting
Step-by-step fix for warping / curling / lifting on Bambu Lab printers including X1C, H2D, P1S, and A1.
How do I fix warping / curling / lifting?
- 1
Use a brim (Others > Bed > Brim Type). A 5–8mm outer brim dramatically increases first-layer surface area and prevents corner lifting.
Setting:
others.bed.brimType - 2
Increase bed temperature by 5–10°C and ensure the enclosure is closed. Warping is caused by uneven cooling — drafts are the enemy.
Setting:
others.bed.bedTemp - 3
For ABS/ASA/PC/Nylon: make sure you're using an enclosed printer (H2D/X1C/P2S). The A1 lacks an enclosure and warping is nearly inevitable with these materials.
Pro tip: If printing high-temp materials, select "High Temp (60°C+)" above — it adjusts bed temperatures and recommends enclosure settings for warp prevention.
